Jacqueline Martin

Lead Pastor

Jackie has served at The Light Of The World Christian for over 26 years in various positions, currently as Lead Pastor, overseeing all ministry areas. She is one of The Light Of The World Christian Fellowship Church's founders in Humble, Texas.

Pastor Jackie Martin has accepted her call to preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1996, she was licensed as a minister and became an ordained pastor of Light of the World Christian Fellowship. Pastor Martin wants people to: know God, know their identity in Him, and to be equipped and empowered for purpose: impacting and transforming the world around them. She is married to the love of her life, Pastor Jerry Martin, and is a proud mother of three- Jasmine, Jessica and Jarrett.

Jerry Martin

Executive Pastor

Jerry G. Martin is the pastor and founder of The Light Of The World Christian Fellowship in Humble, Texas. The church was founded in 1994. Pastor Martin is a native of Houston. He grew up in Fifth Ward. His father was a pastor and he has four brothers who are pastors, as well.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Refuge, The Heart of Texas Foundation and is the Executive Director of Light of the World Community Development Corporation. Pastor Martin’s radio broadcast, "The Light of the World", can be heard daily in eight cities across Texas. Pastor Martin graduated from Kashmere Garden High School, Los Angeles City College, and the College of Biblical Studies. He is married to his wonderful wife Jacqueline and they have three children.



Why We Exist

We exist to impact our world by introducing Jesus Christ to our local and global communities.

We seek to develop the next generation of believers and to bring them into maturity in Christ. We relentlessly pursue the worship of God, and the fellowship of His people. We value the spiritual, social, and economic development of each member. We will serve our communities (church and secular) by developing and using the gifts given to us by God.
